Membership of College Mews Newbury Limited

Membership of College Mews Newbury Limited is open to Leaseholders of those blocks of apartments that participated in the Right To Manage exercise, i.e.:

Brunel Court,

Rennie Court,

Smeaton Court,

Stephenson Courts and

Telford Courts.

Leaseholders who are not Members can apply using the Application Form (click the link below to download).

CMN Subletting- Policy & Application Information

College Mews Newbury Limited [CMNL] on behalf of the Freeholder [Holding & Management (Solitaire) No 2 Limited] and Right To Manage Company operate a subletting policy at College mews in order to uphold the terms of the lease and the policy conditions of the property insurance. Leaseholders wishing to sublet their property must do so subject to this policy and must obtain a License to Sublet as set out below.

Subletting for the purpose of holiday letting using services such as Airbnb or Booking.com is not permitted.

Failure to obtain a License to Sublet could lead to legal action being taken against you and void the property insurance making you liable for all reinstatement costs in the event of damage.

 

Subletting Procedure


You can obtain a copy of the procedure, apply for a license on-line or download an Application Form via the following link:

 

Subletting Procedure and License Application

 

  1. Read the Subletting Policy.
  2. Complete the License Application (either on-line or paper-based).
  3. Submit your Application and pay the appropriate fee.
  4. Upload or post a copy of the Tenancy Agreement.

Chaneys will issue a License to Sublet on behalf of CMNL and notify the Freeholder.

 

CMNL reserves the right to amend the Procedure and these instructions as necessary.
